Background (age, occupation, location, etc.)

Age: 23

Occupation: Intern at Feminine Weapon

Location: NJ/NY

When were you first approached to be a part of the MI team? What were your initial thoughts? I was approached by Fredgy a few weeks after the Kickstarter shoot. I think it was March. I was surprised she asked me to team up with Gabi to create the wardrobe for the film because I never did anything like that before. I was really excited but a little hesitant because I would be graduating college that May and wanted to make sure I had enough time to dedicate. In the end the opportunity was too good to pass up.

What is your role in MI? I co-styled the film with Gabi, helped with festival research and submission and   I do the social media with Alex and Fredgy.

Favorite memory of filming? The best part of filming was being around the extended crew and cast for two consecutive 12 hour shoot days. Everyone was so talented and a joy to be around; they all brought something different to the table. You could see everyone in their time to shine, it was inspiring.

Favorite scene? This one is difficult! I   especially love the the scene when Josephine meets Ms. Colins for the first time and gives her the sunflowers.

How has MI impacted your life? Career? Being a part of Milking It has helped me push myself and explore new interests. Just because you don't have experience in something [yet], doesn't mean you aren't great at it. I have met so many passionate and engaging women and it has helped me appreciate the power of women and teamwork that much more.

Have you ever felt like Josephine, liking your boyfriends mom more than your boyfriend? I would say that at certain parts of my past relationships I have liked my boyfriends moms more than them. But, I guess that's why they are EX boyfriends, haha.

What are your hopes for the film and rest of the crew? I can't wait for the film to be nationally and internationally recognized and appreciated for it's honesty and creativity. I hope all the women who worked on this film got as much as I did out of it. I have gained a lot of knowledge and have grown a lot. I am so happy and proud to have been a part of this.
