"Milking It" had a very successful festival run–– screening all across the country, and most recently winning a Gold Remi Award for best original short film at the 49th Annual World-Fest Houston International Film Festival. I was overwhelmed by the number of women and men who spoke to me about their mothers-in-law or former mothers-in-law. It's been a really beautiful experience.
While the short film will no longer be screened, the exciting news is that "Milking It" is in development to become a feature film! I've written the feature screenplay and created a pitch deck. I’m currently scouting locations, meeting crew/consultants, speaking with potential investors, and reaching out to actors and their agents. It's all very exciting!
